Connect a Google Sheets spreadsheet, get a URL, and send form submissions, webhook payloads, signups, and app events straight into rows. No backend to build or maintain.
Hey Product Hunt
I built RowSink because I kept running into the same small but annoying problem: I just wanted to send some JSON data into a Google Sheet without setting up a backend, database, Zapier workflow, or custom Apps Script.
RowSink gives any Google Sheet a simple HTTP endpoint. You share the sheet with RowSink, get a webhook URL, and POST JSON to it. RowSink creates the columns automatically, handles new fields as your data changes, and appends everything directly into the spreadsheet.
It’s useful for things like:
* logging Stripe/webhook events
* collecting form submissions without a backend
* sending data from scripts, automations, IoT devices or no-code tools into Sheets
The goal is not to replace a database or full workflow automation tool. If you need complex workflows, Zapier/Make/n8n are probably better. RowSink is for the simpler case: “I just need this data in a spreadsheet quickly.”
One thing I cared about from the start: RowSink does **not** need full access to your Google Drive. Drive access always gives me the ick, especially for a small logging tool. With RowSink, you share access sheet-by-sheet, only for the spreadsheet you actually want to write data into. Because RowSink does not store your spreadsheet data, I can also keep the running costs low and offer a pretty generous free tier.
I’d love feedback from developers, no-code builders, and indie hackers — especially on use cases where you currently reach for a database, Apps Script, or Zapier just to get data into Google Sheets.
