Let me tell you a story...
My dad is 89. He wanted a new printer and asked me for help choosing one. I went to Amazon and sent him a few links to printers that were reasonably priced from major brands, with high ratings and lots of reviews.
He thanked me for the links, then asked me "Which one?"
I then asked ChatGPT to write something up and help make some decisions.
I started thinking about all the mom bloggers that want to create gift guides, and food influencers that want to share their favorite kitchen appliances but didn't have time to research and write about them.
I ran some Google searches for things like "Landscaping ideas" and "Valentines day gift ideas" and ALL of the top organic results were roundups. This wasn't just SEO-friendly content. This was the highest value SEO content.
I then found @kirill_shevch online who was already working on an AI blogging tool and we teamed up to focus on AI-generated product research with a thesis that If you provide insights that help people make buying decisions, you're delivering value that an audience, a search engine, and storefronts all appreciate.
We started with Amazon as a data source which was a no brainer decision, and then added AppSumo's marketplace as a data source for software. Both of these marketplaces are invested in affiliate marketing already, so we integrated not only with their product catalogs, but their affiliate platforms.
In short, Roundups saves you time doing product research and rewards you for creating and sharing content of value.
You can probably imagine how this can scale too with Roundups for restaurants, concerts/events, travel, real estate, etc.
Product influencers can share direct links, but we also have WordPress integrations.

This is such a cool tool for anyone creating shopping guides or affiliate content! Have you thought about adding a feature to customize the design of the guides to better match individual branding? That could make it even more appealing for creators.

Interesting, this is basically a SEO tool disguised as a product review blog. But thinking about it all product review blogs are just SEO tools :-)

Wow, this sounds awesome. We have a side business that's a Christmas Website where we make shopping recommendations for our website visitors and email subscribers. The blogs take FOREVER to generate. This sounds like exactly what I was looking for! According to your chatbot it also integrates with my mailchimp? That would be insane if that's true and save us soooo much time!!!
The WordPress integration is smart, I wonder if there's an opportunity to create a network effect here. What if roundup creators could discover and reference each other's guides? Could create an interesting ecosystem of trusted reviewers sharing insights across niches.

Can I use this for all the products that I use? (like clothes, hair dryer, coffee machine, etc) Congrats with the launch, I like that the idea came to you from a real life situation with your dad.
this is awesome and fun but i think the monthly subscription doesnt correlate to the use frequency, a one off credit system i think is better for this
@joshbarkin Hi Josh, I just used the product and three things that caught my eye are "request a feature", "get inspired", "re-order and re-write" option. My question is, do you plan on introducing an integration where an already published page can be edited based on the selections of the competitor?
I like the idea of your website. The affiliate marketing economy is growing everyday as it is one of the best ways for channels owners to monetize. and with its growth competition became harder too which makes your website a necessity for channel owners to sell more effectively and identify products they can sell with less time and effort.
It's a great tool for shopping-focused content creators. I think you could consider using AI to generate this type of video content. It seems like these videos could be shared across more social media platforms to attract more attention and drive purchases.
