I'm Linn, an indie dev/maker, and I built RoomAI because most AI "redesign my room" tools quietly change the room itself — the walls move, the window shrinks, the ceiling height shifts — so the result looks great but stops being useful for actually planning anything.
RoomAI keeps the real geometry (walls, windows, doors, ceiling height, camera angle) locked to your original photo, and only restyles what's inside it. A few things it's good for:
- 20+ room-type presets (living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, exterior, etc.) each tuned to that room's own furniture/scale, from one shared 300+ style library
- Generating 3 style directions from the same photo side-by-side, so comparisons are apples-to-apples
- Virtual staging an empty listing photo for ~$0.30/image instead of $1,500–3,000 for a physical stage
- Decluttering a lived-in room before listing or restaging it
- AI exterior redesign — repaint, re-clad, swap the roof — from a normal photo taken on the pavement
