ROMA is an open-source framework for building high-performance multi-agent systems. It uses a recursive, hierarchical structure to break down complex problems, enabling agents to solve sophisticated tasks with full transparency.
Hi everyone!
I use Gemini's Deep Research every day. It's my go-to after trying all the other deep research tools out there. So, I was pretty shocked when I saw ROMA, an open-source framework, not just competing with, but significantly outperforming top commercial systems on some tough benchmarks.
ROMA is an open-source framework for building these kinds of multi-agent systems. Because it's open, you can plug in any model you want, local or API, and connect your own data sources to build custom agents.
The official examples already show its potential: a general task solver, a deep research agent, and a finance agent. That finance agent idea is pretty interesting for building high-net-worth products. An AI Buffett, maybe? :P
Sentient’s open-source framework, ROMA, is a groundbreaking step in the journey toward AGI. With its flexible architecture that integrates with any model, task-sharing capabilities, and interaction with specialized agents, it’s more than just a tool—it’s an evolving intelligence ecosystem. Through transparency, community contribution, and exceptional performance, Sentient is turning the vision of open-source AGI into reality.
ROMA, on the other hand, gives me a sense of team spirit… Atomizer, Planner, Executor, Aggregator. Each one takes on a task, and together they produce a strong answer in the end.
Sentient's ROMA technology represents a true revolution in AI development. Intelligently breaking down challenging problems into manageable pieces, planning and executing tasks like a cohesive team, and combining the results into a single, powerful solution, it offers an unprecedented approach in modern AI architectures. With ROMA, complex tasks can be solved faster, more efficiently, and more reliably. In short, ROMA sets a new standard for innovation and reliability in AI. Sentient's visionary approach will continue to inspire future projects.
ROMA looks promising because it’s not just another closed system claiming breakthroughs, but an open framework that people can actually build on. fact that you can connect any model and data source makes it flexible for real world use. i’m curious to see how it performs outside benchmarks, especially in production workflows where reliability and efficiency matter most
ROMA is on the rise and strives to establish the foundational bedrock for open-source AGI.
I’ve already written about ROMA on Twitter. I only have positive thoughts about it. I believe in Sentient and its bright future.
ROMA being the best for building multi agents, and still made open source. That is true decentralization. This is when an organization aligns a product to the values of its users rather than itself or other institutions.
ROMA demonstrates that open-source agents can be competitive with closed systems if the proper structure can be arranged.
ROMA is a game changer for Open Sourced AI, Sentient AGI has been able to achieve this huge milestone through rigorous research, hard work and consistency.
ROMA is at the heart of achieving an Open Sourced AGI that is not only accurate and smart but make complex and complicated queries, simplified for easy learning and understanding.
The way it continuously interacts with queries by sharing tasks and following it up with specialized agents and models is a marvel.
The beauty of it all is that it does everything transparently, mistakes can be viewed and corrected through community inputs and teamwork.
Another interesting thing, is that it is already tested against the close and open source AI and it performed excellently.
Sentient chat is not just a chat bot, its capability for growth and achieving AGI and ASI level is not unthinkable, all this speaks to the commitment of the team to be at the forefront of Open Sourced AGI that is community driven and aligned.
