Rolo lets you create a private photo album for any event. Guests scan a QR code, take photos from their browser, and everything is saved in one place. No app downloads, no messy chat groups, no lost memories.
Hey!
I built Rolo because I kept seeing the same problem at events: everyone takes great photos, but most of them disappear into WhatsApp groups, private camera rolls, random cloud folders, or never get shared at all.
Rolo is a simple way to collect those memories.
You create an event, share a QR code, and guests can take photos directly from their browser. No app download required. Everything goes into a private album, and the host can decide when the photos are revealed.
The idea is inspired by disposable cameras, but redesigned for modern events.
It works well for:
* Weddings
* Birthdays
* Trips
* Parties
* Corporate events
* Any gathering where people are already taking photos
What I’m most interested in learning from the Product Hunt community:
1. Would you use this for your own event?
2. What type of event should Rolo focus on first?
3. Would you prefer public albums, private albums, or both?
4. What integrations would make this more useful?
I’d really appreciate your feedback, questions, and ideas.
Thanks for checking out Rolo.

Who hunted Rolo?
Rolo was hunted by Jean Carlos Lopes de Oliveira. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
