Like many of you, I've watched the tech job market turn into a chaotic race of spammy auto-apply bots and expensive ATS scanners that charge $30/month just to spit out fake, random match scores.
When you try to use standard ChatGPT or Claude prompts to fix your resume, they usually break down in two ways:
1. They hallucinate metrics (adding fake "% growth" just to fit the job description).
2. They're too sycophantic—they praise your experience instead of pointing out critical career gaps.
So, I built Candidate Background — a strict, fact-based Claude Skill combined with a Notion database workflow. It acts as an unbiased interviewer with a hard system rule against making up numbers, audits your true positioning fit, and structures your verified experience.
