Hey Product Hunt!
We’re excited to launch RixLabs an MCP backtesting engine for crypto perps that lets you research and test strategies by describing them in plain English.
Connect once to Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP-capable agent, then ask it to:
- backtest strategies
- compare variants
- analyze fills, slippage, funding, and drawdown
- pull trades and metrics from real simulations
We built this for traders, quant researchers, and AI-native builders who want real results from a real engine, not just an agent guessing the numbers.
Would love your feedback, questions, and ideas on what you’d want RixLabs to support next.
Finally tried running a backtest through Claude on a perp strategy I've been messing with for weeks, and the results actually lined up with what I see on the charts. The setup was surprisingly quick to wire up.
How does the backtesting engine handle things like funding rate changes or sudden liquidation cascades that historically wrecked strategies, and is that data included or do I need to feed it in myself?
Finally plugged this into my Claude setup and it pulled backtest results way faster than the script I was running locally. Curious to see how it handles the more exotic perps once they add more feeds.
