Creating content is fun. But editing? Let’s be honest, not always as fun. With chat-based editing, you have a personal AI agent that helps you edit your videos just by chatting, so you can focus on the fun part.
Congrats Riverside team! Pumped to use this for some recordings. Curious if this might be accessible via other platforms in future (i.e. Slack, texting etc.)
I have tried the chat-based editing a couple of times on small sections. It's quite intuitive! I was pleasantly surprised. :)
Started using Riverside like 5 years ago; it's still my only go-to for podcast recordings. Love your work; all my clients use it, and we even had a great collab for EO Global.
Can't wait to use it. Is it live for users? Keep going guys

Can't wait to use it. Is it live for users? I have a paid plan, of course. Keep going guys
Huge congrats on the launch. Chat-Based Editing feels like the future of content creation turning complex editing into a simple, conversational experience. Can already imagine how much time this will save for creators.
I loved the editor even before you made it chat-based. I appreciate how you keep raising the bar! Can't wait to edit my next Lamatic.ai customer interview with the new capabilities.
Riverside is constantly improving an already amazing product. As the producer of two podcasts I'm appreciative of how much time the app saves me. Bonus: the tech support staff is great and always responds VERY quickly.
Riverside is a great Podcast Platform. Even the basic version. I just wish it's price would come down a little for the full Pro level account.
Wow, this is truly exciting developments. This will be interesting since I use primarily Descript for all my podcast editing needs and Riverside for just scheduling and recording remote podcasts. But this feature could be a game changer.
Love Riverside and the new chat editor. Super helpful to edit my podcast and create the content I need more easily.
As a podcaster who started with zero editing experience, I can confidently say this feature is a game-changer.
I’ve been using Riverside for quite a while now, and their editing software was already the most intuitive, beginner-friendly tool out there. But with Chat-Based Editing? It’s like hiring an editor to take care of the tedious stuff—without giving up control.
And the best part? Even if you enjoy editing (which I’ve actually grown to love thanks to Riverside), you can still speed up your workflow by letting Chat-Based Editing handle the repetitive tasks. Then you can jump in and fine-tune anything with your own creative touch. You’re not locked into one way of working, you get the best of both worlds.
Huge shoutout to the team for continuing to make creators feel seen and supported.
If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out.
I've been using Riverside for over 2 years and it's so exciting to see the improvements in all that time. Is by far my favourite remote video recording and editing platform.
It is amazing all the freedom you have to post process your recording before making it public.
If you plan to create a podcast for offline or live streaming this is the go to app.
Been using Riverside daily for about two years. It makes full stack production of a podcast and brand so much more streamlined. As the company grows and updates its features I appreciate that they are so quick to fix any (unavoidable, c’est la vie) glitches or issues that show up promptly. I also really appreciate how communicative and on point your customer relations team is.
H Riverside, love you guys and use you almost every day - definitely on a good day! I saw this tool, but I've been a little nervous to use it because of all the mistakes chatGPT makes. I did try it but it couldn't do the task I wanted (string all the videos in a project together)
Do you have a place where I can see all the change it makes so I can reverse then one by one or all together? On another note, I had an issue recently where your AI cut off the end of a speaker's phrase and mispelled my name in the subtitles. Is this the kind of thing it can help with?
Love Riverside! As a podcast host it has been an absolute game changer, saving me HOURS of work each week. And they are constantly improving the user experience. Highly recommend.
