Hi ProductHunt! Today, we’re launching Rise 2.0. This release adds the three most requested features: tasks&projects, mobile and first class support for Outlook. It’s our mission to help you and your team have more time for what’s important. We already helped thousands of users with features like best time to meet, FocusGuard and our external scheduling links that highlight optimal times. We’re excited to introduce these three major additions and hope you’ll love them as much as we do. Blocking off time for tasks is a battle tested way of getting things done. In Rise, you can now manage your tasks and projects within one app. Here’s what makes Rise Projects unique: ** Seamless integration with your calendar** In Rise you can create, modify and drag tasks around like any other event. Setting a due date on a task automatically makes it show up in the all day section, from where you can easily drag it into your schedule. You can also easily duplicate any task with Command+D (or Ctrl+D on Windows), or use Alt+drag to quickly create a copy of your tasks. This does not only work from the calendar, but from anywhere within Rise. ** Meeting Boards help have more effective meetings** For any internal recurring event, you can create a Meeting Board from Rise with a single click. We'll make sure all attendees (and only they) will get access to that meeting board. In your calendar, you'll see that this event will show a nice progress indicator, highlighting the progress for the meeting. From the board, you can easily add new tasks, assign them to the relevant participant and keep those items on track. **One view for focus** Mapping out your day is a really powerful way to make sure you're prioritizing what is right. This is why we built My Focus: one page to look at and combine your key tasks with meetings that are coming up. It really quickly became our most favorite page in Rise and we hope you'll love it too. Next to this major upgrade, we have a big announcement for Outlook users. You can now link and use your Microsoft account to Rise and manage your time in one place. In Rise you can connect as many Google and Outlook accounts to a single Rise account as you want. Use our smart features like cross-calendar blocking, focus guard and scheduling links to make it easier than ever to protect your time. Last but not least: Rise is now available on the go as well, with our app for iOS. Our Android app is close behind – we're running a closed alpha right now. We're hanging out here to answer any questions you might have! Thanks for giving Rise a try :)

Comment highlights

Just jumped back into Rise since 2.0 update and I am absolutely loving it. Strongly considering actually trying out using it as my main calendar, which says a whole lot!
Rise 2.0 is an all-in-one solution that superbly integrates calendar, project management, and task scheduling. The new features like seamless calendar integration, Meeting Boards, and My Focus view transform how you organize your day, ensuring maximum productivity. It's the perfect tool for anyone looking to reclaim time and focus on what truly matters. The addition of mobile apps makes it even more accessible. Highly recommend it for streamlined, effective task management.
congratulations on launching rise 2.0, francesco, sokratus, jeorge, and emiel. integrating task management directly within a calendar seems incredibly useful. could you share how rise ensures data security, especially with integrations across multiple email and calendar platforms?
Rise 2.0 sounds like a productivity booster! How does it handle task management when dealing with overlapping events and tight schedules?
I've been looking for this kind of calendar app for ages. I'm so excited about all the improvements and changes you're introducing. And I've finally gotten so close to making time blocking work for me. I appreciate all the hard work the team's put into this app. Thank you for the awesome customer support and for all you do!
I’ve been a huge, huge fan of Rise for a long time now. There is simply not another calendar app that matches it’s speed, flexibility and intuitiveness. Trust me, I’ve tried them all. For the longest time I struggled to keep it with my teammates across different time zone, see their avaliability and plan accordingly. Rise fixes that and more. Creating meetings is incredibly quick and easy, and it’s simple to disceminate what’s an internal vs external meeting with just a glance. Everything about the UI and UX is so smart and well designed. Now with Tasks and Projects, they’ve nailed it on the first go; which is incredible. They seamless integrate tasks with your calendar and with My Focus view you’re able to quickly block out your day in one place without checking 3 or 4 different apps. I’m very excited to see where @rickpastoor and team take Rise as it’s everything a calendar app should be in 2024. Can’t wait to see what they have in store 🚀
I'm so grateful to have been whitelisted for early access to Outlook integration. It's been a game changer for me! I have 8 calendars, and one of the most important ones is Outlook. It used to be a nightmare trying to find simple availability on my calendars, but with cross-calendar blocking and a booking page, I've saved hours per week managing my calendars! Rise 2 is a must-have 👌 Thank you for creating such an amazing app that improves productivity like no other. 🙏
Very nice @rickpastoor & team! Any plans on adding recurring to-do's as well?
Love the app, and the integration with tasks. Kinda reminds me of HyperCal which got bought out. What are the expected pricing plans that you’ll be introducing?
