I'm Jason — solo founder here, coming from 15 years running a design studio before selling it in 2024 and diving headfirst into this.
Ripping Bombs started from a dumb but persistent question: I hit a genuinely long drive on a simulator one night and had zero way to know if that was actually impressive or just impressive to me. So I built the thing I wanted — a real, global leaderboard for longest drives, split fairly by age, gender, and handicap category so a 60-year-old with a 22 handicap isn't getting compared to a scratch 25-year-old.
A few things I'm proud of:
