Excited to try this out ! Hope it works on the Indian version of the fruit as well 🙏🏽

This is the new Not Hotdog

On the surface it might seem to be like a fun tool but imagine used by food industry, restaurants, farmers for technology to reduce waste

sad that only works on your country local avocados. Tried with Chilean Hass avocado and it wasn't ripe. I just lose a 2 USD avocado. Thanks :(

Definitely using this! I've just started getting the smashed avocado because I can't pick out good fresh ones.

Reminds me of Not HotDog (https://www.producthunt.com/prod...)

can't we do the same thing with Gemini and chatGPT? just take a pic and ask it if it is ripe?

Congratulations on launching RipeOrNot AI for Avocados! @aditya_mohanty This is a game-changer for avocado lovers everywhere! No more guessing if your avocado is ripe or not. Using AI to determine ripeness with just a picture is brilliant. How accurate is the AI in determining the ripeness of avocados across different varieties and conditions?

Hola, this is Yash here, and I love avocados. What I don't love is cutting open an avocado and finding out it's still unripe. This is what happened to me last week. I had to throw away the avocado. I don't like wasting food. That's why I built RipeOrNot. It uses a custom-trained computer vision model (1000's of images of ripe/unripe avocados) to help you decide whether the avocado is ripe or not. I encountered a problem, and I couldn't resist not building this out. So glad to have it out there finally. Appreciate any and all feedback. P.S. I would love to know if anyone here is in the "I-eat-my-avocados-raw-gang." I am certainly not - I need my guac.
