Traditional SEO and trend tools are great, but they often focus on massive, global data that takes days or weeks to update. By the time a trend registers there, the market is already saturated. I realized that bloggers were missing out on a goldmine of immediate, hyper-local trends happening right under their noses.
I wanted to solve this by building a tool that captures what people are genuinely interested in right now in their specific areas, giving creators an unfair advantage to ride the wave early.
How the Approach Evolved When I first started working on this launch, my focus was purely on building a fast data scraper. But as I tested it and talked to early users, my process completely evolved. I realized that raw trend data isn't enough—bloggers don't just want a list of keywords; they need actionable insights.
That’s why I pivoted to integrate AI-powered analysis. Instead of just saying X is trending, riki-ai.tech now helps you understand why it's trending and how you can position your content to capture that audience. We shifted from a simple tracking tool to an intelligent brainstorming partner for content strategy.
