Hey everyone!! I'm the founder of RichGoon, and I want to be honest about why I built this instead of giving the polished version of the story. I blew multiple accounts trading manually. Not once, more than once. I'd sit in front of charts for hours, watching every tick, and the second a trade went red I'd start making decisions out of panic instead of the plan I'd actually written down. Moved stop losses. Closed winners way too early because I was scared they'd turn into losers. And the worst part, after a loss I'd immediately want it back, so I'd take another trade that had nothing to do with my strategy, bigger size, worse setup, basically gambling and calling it trading. Did that enough times to wipe accounts more than once. The strategies themselves usually backtested fine. I was the broken part of the system, not the edge. So I built RichGoon to take myself out of the loop. Same strategy, same rules, except now it executes automatically on my own broker account instead of waiting for me to either freeze up or override it emotionally. No charts to stare at all day, no decision to make in the moment, which turns out to be exactly what I needed. Somewhere along the way a few users started running it on prop firm evaluation accounts, and it turns out consistency under eval rules is the same problem as consistency under my own panic, just with a firm's money watching instead of mine. One of the strategies on the platform has since helped users actually pass their evaluation. It's grown since then, now covers cTrader brokers, MT4/5, a couple of crypto exchanges, 90 backtested strategies you can paper trade free before risking anything.
