Hi, I’m Jeremy. Most rhyming dictionaries are endless lists of computer-generated junk that no human seems to have looked at, stuffed with things a lyricist would never use. RhymeHamster started as a hobby, a rhyming dictionary I built for myself. Then I shared it with the Princeton students in the musical theater writing workshop I’ve taught for twenty years, and they got a kick out of it and told me it worked better than anything else out there. I also added about ten thousand real words, phrases, names, places and brands that the older rhyming dictionaries never caught up with.
