Whether you're sending a tricky email, polishing a Slack message, or just trying to make something sound right, jumping into ChatGPT breaks your flow. Rewrait keeps you in it.
✨ How it works
1. Select any text
2. Hit your shortcut (CMD + Shift + P by default)
3. Rewrait rewrites it instantly
4. Keep going
It works anywhere on your Mac. Gmail, Notion, Slack, Docs, wherever you write. Use one of the built-in prompts like “make it shorter” or “more friendly,” or create your own.

I have one more question, can I specify the model? Or use my own OpenAI key? Is there any solution that supports private deployment? Sometimes I will need stronger privacy protection.

Multi-shortcut binding and application scenario recognition for custom Prompts: Considering the diverse demands of different applications and usage scenarios for Prompts, I suggest whether it would be possible to support binding multiple shortcuts to custom Prompts or to implement intelligent recognition based on different application environments.
2. Manual specification option for multi-language functionality: Regarding multi-language support, I noticed that the current automatic recognition feature may not always be accurate. Therefore, I hope that an option to manually specify the language can be provided to ensure the accuracy of translations.
