ResumeAI helps you build an ATS-friendly resume in minutes — and actually get past the bots that auto-reject most applications before a human sees them. Pick a clean, ATS-safe template, then let AI do the heavy lifting: "Improve with AI" rewrites your bullet points into strong, achievement-focused lines; one-click JD tailoring rewrites your resume to match any job description; and built-in interview prep turns your resume + the JD into practice questions.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Pradeep, the maker of ResumeAI. I built this after watching friends get auto-rejected by ATS systems before a human ever saw their resume — often for formatting or phrasing, not qualifications. Most "AI resume" tools either produce generic fluff or lock PDF export behind a subscription. So ResumeAI does three things differently: 1. ATS-friendly by default + an ATS check, so you're not filtered out on formatting. 2. AI that tailors to the actual job description — not just generic rewrites — plus interview prep from your resume + the JD. 3. A finished PDF on the free tier. No subscription to walk away with a real resume. Premium templates are one-time; Pro AI ($9/mo) is optional for unlimited AI. I'd genuinely love your honest feedback — what's confusing, what's missing, what would make you actually use it. I'll be here all day. 🙏 Try it: https://airesume.info/?utm_sourc...

This is great for getting past ATS filters, but I'd love to see a "skills gap" view that shows me exactly which keywords from a job description are missing from my resume right now. Right now the tailoring feels like a black box — I trust the rewrite, but I don't really know what was added or changed versus what I originally had. A simple side-by-side diff or a highlight of newly matched keywords would make it feel way more transparent and let me learn what actually works for future applications.

One thing that would really level this up is a cover letter generator that pulls from the same JD match logic, so everything stays consistent. Most of us dread writing those and it'd save a ton of time.

honestly the JD tailoring sounds super useful, but it would be great if you could save multiple versions of your resume for different roles and quickly switch between them. like a dashboard where i can see all my tailored resumes side by side without having to re-generate everything each time

Honestly the JD tailoring feature is kind of wild, like it actually rewrote my bullet points to match the posting and it didn't sound generic. Wish I'd had this during my last job hunt honestly.

the JD tailoring feature is genuinely clever, like the fact it pulls keywords directly into bullet points instead of just stuffing them in saves so much guesswork
