Dopamine shapes our daily habits. Things like reels and all give us quick, high dopamine hits, which slowly make everything else feel boring. The solution is basically to lower your dopamine expectations so your brain can enjoy slower, more meaningful tasks again. To experiment with this, I built a very simple website. It nudges you to slow down... take a breath, read, write, or just sit and think.
I was actually watching a youtube video on how dopamine affects our learning, and found out that major part of it happens because we get way too happy while using social media which makes other things boring and with time, it gets worse. Thats why I came up with this website idea so I can use this for 30 min instead of doom scrolling.
