Hi Product Hunt - I'm the developer. I kept saving cooking videos on TikTok and Instagram and never finding the amounts again, so I built Repimame. Paste a link (or share it from the app) and you get the ingredients and steps as text, with the original post one tap away.
It is honest about what it can't do: it reads what is written in the caption, description or page, so a recipe that is only spoken in the video can't be imported. If a caption never says how much flour, it leaves the amount blank rather than guess, and some age-restricted TikTok posts can't be read from outside TikTok. While you cook, you can scroll the recipe with your hand in front of the camera (nothing is recorded).
iPhone and iPad only for now, no Android yet. Completely free - feedback very welcome.
