Hi Product Hunt 👋
I'm Pramod, a product designer from Nepal. RentHisab started from a problem I faced myself.
Every month I found myself repeating the same process:
- Checking electricity meter readings
- Looking through old photos to find previous readings
- Opening a calculator to work out utility costs
- Adding rent and other charges
- Creating a bill for the property owner
The calculations weren't difficult. The repetition was.
I tried spreadsheets, notes, and calculators, but none felt designed for the workflow of managing rent and utility bills month after month.
So I built RentHisab.
RentHisab helps landlords and tenants:

One thing I'm particularly proud of is that the app works offline and stores data locally, making it reliable even without internet access.
