Most problems started the same way: the homeowner and the contractor didn’t have the same picture of the job. So I built Renovation Hub. It puts homeowners and vetted contractors on one scope, so bids are comparable and nobody argues later about what was included.
Question for you: should a project estimate be paid? It’s real work, and the contractor adds its cost to the final price anyway. Maybe it’s more honest to pay for it once, openly?
It's beautiful and convenient. It has a clean, minimalist look. I wish it worked worldwide. I see that for now, the service is limited to California.
