I'm Dima. I built Remocn Studio because every launch I shipped ended the same way:
the product was done, and the video wasn't.
AI video tools make you pick one of two bad options. You either get generated
pixels you can't edit, or a template everyone has already seen. I wanted a third
route: let a coding agent write the motion design as code, and let me direct it
like a film set.
So Remocn Studio is a Mac app where your own coding agent (Claude Code, Codex,
GitHub Copilot or Grok Build, signed in with the subscription you already pay for)
builds the video as a real Remotion project in a folder on your disk.
How it works:
🎬 Describe the video. The agent runs a 7-stage pipeline (analysis → brand → script
→ motion → build → choreography → review) and writes a readable doc at each stage,
so you can overrule any decision.
👆 Point at things. Click any element in the live preview and drag its type,
spacing and easing curves. The value goes straight back into the TSX. Or drag a
Snapshot box and talk about that crop.
🎨 Stay on brand. Drop in a DESIGN.md or set your colors once.
📦 Export MP4, WebM, GIF or ProRes up to 4K, with presets for YouTube, Shorts,
Reels and TikTok.
What it isn't:
- No timeline, no keyframes, no tracks
- No API keys, no extra token bill
- No lock-in. It's plain Remotion: open it in your editor, commit it, take it anywhere.
- No telemetry. Crash reports are opt-in.
It's free and MIT-licensed. I'd love to hear what video you'd make with it first, and where it breaks. I'm here all day 🙏
