The idea came from a personal frustration, every time someone I knew wanted to send money abroad, they'd just default to whatever service they'd heard of, often paying way more in fees than necessary. There was no easy way to compare live rates, fees, and delivery times across providers in one place.
That's exactly what Remit-Scout solves. Think of it like Expedia, but for international money transfers, you enter your corridor (e.g. USD → KES or GBP → NGN), and we surface real-time quotes from multiple remittance providers so you can pick the best deal.
We built this because the remittance market moves ~$800B+ annually, yet most senders are leaving real money on the table due to lack of transparency.
