Goal of this application and how it differs from others, not just to write there as a diary, but it takes hand of user and takes him through whole protocol. And then information on user thoughts are being gathered and analyzed during different periods like week, month, 3 months and e.t.c. Such analytics called "Patterns" in this app, helps user understand himself, his overthinking patterns better. And app has library which explains how each category of pattern works, how to overcome it.
I studied psychology and been in therapy for more than 4 years. And my thoughts on it, that one shouldn't always be in need of therapist to understand, help himself. In psychology there're tools that could help one to have selft-theraphy. Except that one of common problems is that when you donwrite down your thoughts you forget them until next therapy session. So this tool can help to get ready to sessions. Also, onef important thinwas that all information should only be kept in users phone, for privacy matters.
My goal is to create self therapy tools in one app, which could really help people.
The patterns library is what caught my eye, finally an app that explains why I keep spiraling instead of just logging it. Walking through the protocol step by step feels way less overwhelming than staring at a blank journal page.
Big congrats on Relief - CBT Reframing Tool! Always great to see makers ship something this polished. 🙌
love the idea of walking people through a full protocol rather than just being a journal. one thing that would honestly help me is letting me tag patterns myself or add custom ones, since overthinking stuff is pretty personal and the built in library might not cover every weird thing my brain does
