I’m Sepehr, the founder of Xorsand and the creator of Relane.
I started building Relane after experiencing firsthand how unreliable VPNs can become on restrictive and unstable networks. Most VPNs focus on speed, but I wanted to build one that focuses on staying connected when networks are unpredictable.
Relane automatically adapts to changing network conditions, remembers what works on different networks, and is designed to provide a simple experience without requiring users to understand protocols or technical settings.
Building a VPN as an independent founder has been a huge challenge—from developing the apps and backend to testing different connection methods and supporting users—but it’s also been incredibly rewarding.

solid speeds for a free tier vpn, which honestly surprised me. setting up on my laptop took maybe 2 minutes and the public wifi toggle is a nice touch for travel
A multi-hop or double VPN option would be a great addition for anyone dealing with more aggressive censorship. It would also be nice to see a built-in kill switch so traffic drops entirely if the connection drops instead of leaking through.
I forgot to mention that the windows and linux versions are live ! only remaining platforms are iOS and macOS
