Hi Product Hunt, I'm Mihail, the maker of RegHex. Each crossword clue is a regular expression, and every entry has to agree with the patterns crossing it.
Solve rectangular grids or rotate hexagonal boards to look at clues from another angle. Tutorials, live clue feedback, hints and a searchable reference help you get started even if regular expressions are new to you. Daily challenges, streaks and best times give you ways to return.
There is also an editor: build a grid, check that it has a unique solution, and share it as a compact text code. Built-in puzzles, the reference and editor work offline without a RegHex account. Every puzzle and feature is free; optional tips unlock nothing.
RegHex is available for Mac, Android and Apple Vision Pro. iPhone and iPad await release, and store versions can differ. The gallery labels previews. I'd love feedback on puzzle difficulty, clue readability and making your own grid.
