A Mac application to keep a to-do list at the menu bar. It focused on doing instead of planning. It is always visible and respects your attention.

I love this — it's so clear and focused, and always easily visible from the corner of your eye. It's your task list haunting you! 👻

@vanka Congratulations on the launch of Redline Minimal Menubar Todo! The focus on simplicity and attention respect is impressive. I'm curious about how the app handles task prioritization and reminders. These features could significantly enhance user productivity. Any plans to expand on these aspects in future iterations?

This is wonderful, now I can focus on one thing without switching task! Kudos to team @chrismessina

I get the minimalist approach but having a to-do app with literally no features feels a bit too stripped down especially in today's world where productivity tools need to offer more versatility and options to customize, maybe consider adding just a few basics like categories or reminders without overcomplicating it, right now it feels like you'd outgrow it pretty fast

Great job on the launch! It’d be awesome if you could add options to link this with other tools people use for work. That could make managing everything even easier

So no features at all huh even my sticky notes have more functionality not sure how this would fit in my workflow but nice try I guess

This looks like a handy tool for organizing tasks and projects. I’m intrested to see how well it works in real-life situations and how it compares to other options.

Nice work on the platform! It’s exciting to see a new tool for project management.

The idea is solid, but the site feels a bit cluttered. It might be better if the navigation was simpler and more straightforward to make it easier to find what you need

This site looks really useful for keeping track of projects. The dashboard seems easy to navigate, and I like how everything is laid out clearly

So this new todo app keeps it super simple, I get that, but isn't it a bit too basic? I mean, having just one task visible at a time might sound nice to avoid being overwhelmed, but sometimes we need to look at a few things at once, right? Would anyone actually use such a limited app despite it wanting to be more minimalist?

So this is basically just a stripped-down todo app for Mac Menubar right, like I get the simplicity angle and it's kinda refreshing but there are loads of similar apps out there like Todoist or Clear that offer more flexibility and options, not sure people will stick to something this basic just for focus's sake, maybe adding a few cool features wouldn't hurt, just my two cents

I get the idea behind this app, but it's just too basic, seems more like a glorified sticky note than a task manager, might be good for someone who literally only needs to jot one thing down at a time, but for those of us juggling multiple projects and tasks, this ain't it, it's kind of surprising tbh especially coming from someone with such a heavy-hitting background, would think there'd be more depth and utility

Can you explain how this tool keeps track of changes or updates in projects? Knowing more about how it handles updates would be really helpful.

As a Mac user, I appreciate that this app is specifically designed for the platform. It integrates seamlessly with my other apps and workflows.

I love the focus on doing instead of planning. It's a refreshing approach that helps me stay productive and avoid getting overwhelmed.

The app's minimalist design is perfect. It's easy to use and doesn't distract me from my work.
