I built this because I kept spending way too long scrolling Spotify, Letterboxd, and Goodreads without actually picking anything — pure decision paralysis. I wanted something that just picks for me, based on genres I like, so I'm done in 10 seconds instead of 20 minutes.
I'm not a developer by trade, so this was a steep learning curve. First version used fake data just to get the flow right, then I wired up real APIs (Last.fm, TMDb, Google Books). Along the way I realized getting onto the App Store wasn't realistic without a company behind me — so I pivoted to building it as an installable web app instead. No app store needed on either Android or iPhone.
Still very much a v1, built solo. Would love to hear what you think — and what's missing!
