I started building Recollect because I was tired of constantly losing useful information across browser tabs, bookmarks, notes, and AI chats. Existing tools either lock your data into the cloud or focus on note-taking instead of actually helping you find what you've learned.
Recollect is a local-first, AI-powered personal search engine designed to help you search, organize, and reuse your knowledge while keeping your data under your control.
It's still in active development, and this launch is an opportunity to gather feedback from people who care about privacy, local AI, and personal knowledge management.
