I'm Shunsuke, the maker of Recess.
I built Recess because my "5-minute break" too often turned into a social feed, a video loop, or a game that did not really let me leave.
Recess is my attempt to make a different kind of break app: classic logic puzzles redesigned for short work breaks.
What's inside:
- Minesweeper with Pure Logic boards, so you never have to guess
- Solitaire with a Clear Path mode that avoids impossible deals and protects the path to a clean finish
- Unblock puzzles selected from generated stages for satisfying short sessions
- No ads, no subscriptions, no stamina bars
- A simple play timer so you can decide when to go back
The design goal is not to maximize play time. It is to help you solve one puzzle, close the app, and return to work with your head a little clearer.
The app is free to try. Full unlock is a one-time purchase, with no subscription.
