Recallity
Find your knowledge gaps, then drill them with real recall
Recallity is an AI spaced-repetition app for students cramming for exams. Upload any material (files, photo or from your computer/laptop), brain-dump what you already remember, and Recallity maps your knowledge gaps concept by concept, then drills only those with real recall in your own words. Exam Mode compresses your review schedule to your exam date and shows if you're on track. Every card links to the exact source passage, so you can verify it. Free to start on iPhone.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm David, and I built Recallity because of a pattern I kept catching myself in:
I'd re-read the chapters I already understood, feel productive, and walk into the
exam blindsided by the parts I'd quietly avoided. Every study app I tried made this
worse — they only test what you already thought to put on a card.
So Recallity starts from the opposite end. 🧠
1. Upload whatever you're actually studying — Files, a photo of your
notes, pasted text, or from your computer/laptop.
2. Brain-dump what you already remember, in your own words.
3. Recallity's AI diffs your dump against your material and shows you a gap map:
what's solid, what's shaky, what's missing entirely.
4. It then generates drills for the gaps ONLY — fill-in-the-blank and free recall,
answered in your own words and AI-graded. Recognition is easy;
production is what actually sticks.
Two things I care most about:
🎯 Exam Mode — set your exam date and the spaced-repetition schedule compresses to fit the countdown instead of politely scheduling your hardest card for after the exam.
It tells you on-track or behind, every day.
🔍 No black-box AI — tap any card, and it shows the exact passage and page in YOUR
material that it came from. If the AI got it wrong, you'll see it in one second.
Who it's for: students cramming for a dated exam — med, law, bar, CFA, finals. Anyone
studying dense material where the cost of a gap is measurable.
What I'd genuinely love feedback on: does the brain-dump step feel worth it, or does it
feel like homework before the homework? That's the riskiest bet in the product, and I go
back and forth on it weekly. Tear it apart 🙏
