I'm Ani, a solo founder and I built Real Soon because time tracking is broken.
Every tracker I tried made me do all the work. Start the timer, stop the timer, remember what you did, type it in, sort it later. I forgot constantly. And the "automatic" ones (Rize, Timely, RescueTime) just dump activity logs on you and try to clean them up hours after the fact.
Real Soon does it for you. Live, as it happens.
Here's what that actually looks like:
I open Photoshop to work on a logo. Within seconds, Real Soon doesn't just see "Photoshop is open." It sees "Designing a logo" and routes it to the right project.
I jump to Chrome to Google logo inspiration. It catches the switch, but keeps it on the same project because of context.
Then take a break and watch a YouTube video. It tags that as entertainment and keeps it separate from work time.
When I stop, it merges duplicates, strips the noise, and hands me a clean breakdown. Automatically.
Then the part I'm most proud of: you can just ask it stuff.
"How long did I spend designing in the last week, outside of working hours?" Real answer, in seconds. No spreadsheet, no filters.
