Recently, I found myself diving deep into web blogs and thought, "There's got to be a better way to consume all this content." especially, while eating :) That's when I started searching for a Chrome extension that could read the articles to me. But, oh boy, the options I found? Either super robotic voices or way too expensive for a not so bad voice. So, I decided to make one. It was a bit rough around the edges at first – I mean, it was just me using it for a month or so. But after sharing it with a friend and getting some encouraging feedback, I spent a few more months polishing it up and now it's live on the Chrome Web Store If you're also looking for a text-to-speech option that's more on the natural, AI-generated side and won't cost you an arm and a leg, I'd love for you to try mine out. Any feedback or bug reports would be super appreciated!

congrats for the launch! I have a few questions: - there are already a dozen of screen reader extensions, how does this compare to them? - are you planning to monetize it?

@antfenvox Congrats on the launch! Super useful - would love to be able to save my articles somewhere and listen to audio versions on the go, with this! On a different note, I'm getting an untrusted for safe browsing alert. Might want to check with the Chrome tools team? https://groups.google.com/a/chro...

Congratulations, Anton, on launching Readvox! 🎉 It’s fantastic that you’ve identified a gap and filled it with a solution that can help so many of us enjoy content hands-free. I’m excited to try it out and experience those natural voices for myself. I’ll definitely share my thoughts after giving it a whirl. Keep up the great work! 😊

First off congratulations on Readvox. It's a great tool I like it I use it every day. It goes over my Proposals that I send out For business. I catch a lot of run through, in my proposals. Helps me to find those spots to slow it down to be more fluent more collective and more professional instead of the Run through. When I first started using it, I thought the voices were a little fast, but you get used to it. Congratulations once again Anton I love the app I can't wait to see What's next what integration is you're gonna put next I'll be here to find out nice work congratulations once again. #congratulations #great

This is nice tool to have. An important perk that makes it useful for a variety of consumers is that it is free. My online experience has become more efficient and delightful due to the ease with which I may listen to specific text on any webpage. I commend the developers for producing a product that puts accessibility first without sacrificing usability. As a happy customer, I'm interested in any upcoming upgrades. To improve the reading experience even more, perhaps future editions will offer more language options or other features. @anfenvox

Being able to listen to selected text on any web page has made my online reading experience more dynamic and engaging. The fact that Readvox is free is the cherry on top. I've tried other similar tools, but Readvox stands out for its simplicity, functionality, and the personalized touch it adds to text-to-speech reading. Kudos to the developers for creating such a fantastic extension! As a user, I am curious about potential future updates @antfenvox 😁

Confession: I used to skim blog posts, barely absorbing a thing. With Readvox, those days are over! I highlight the entire article, hit play, and suddenly, I'm hanging on every word. The narrators bring the text to life, highlighting key points and injecting personality. Now, I actually enjoy reading long-form content online. good job @antfenvox ✨

This small extension opens up a world of knowledge and entertainment for everyone. I love the ease of use – highlighting text and activating Readvox takes just a click. And the quality of the voices is impressive! It's clear, natural, and even conveys emotion. Bravo, Readvox team @antfenvox !

Congrats @antfenvox for the product launch. As someone who learns best through sound, Readvox has become my new best friend. Simply select the text, fire up Readvox, and let the soothing voices wash over me. It's like having a personal audiobook narrator right on my browser. Now, if only Readvox could tackle PDFs too...

Just installed it for my grandpa. He found it really easy and helpful. Thank you!
