I love reading long articles, but doing it on a computer or phone is tiring, and you have a thousand distractions. And my Kindle was just sitting there, unused.
The solution: Read It Soon
You open an article you like -> it extracts the clean content -> sends it to you as an EPUB via email -> it arrives straight to your Kindle.
No app. No account. No subscription. Free (though there is a paid plan for heavy readers).
The flow I use now:
1. I find an interesting article
2. I send it to Read It Soon
3. In seconds, it appears on my Kindle
4. I read it on e-ink, distraction-free, and focused.
The difference compared to apps like Pocket or Instapaper: the article ends up on a device dedicated to reading, rather than competing with notifications on your phone. Plus, if you can see it, ReadItSoon can too, even if the content is behind a login—it's invulnerable to anti-scrapers and undetectable. I used bookmarklets to achieve this reliability; you can use it on your computer or phone.
I built it in with Readability for content extraction (the technology Firefox uses for reader mode).
