Three years here, zero English novels finished. Every attempt died the same way: look up a word, lose the thread, put it down. Readii is the reader I wished I had.
What it does: any EPUB becomes a route. Chapters split into ~3-minute legs. Each leg ends with a recap and a hook. You predict what happens next (wrong guesses cost nothing). Characters appear as cards only when you meet them. Tap any word for its meaning in that sentence. The original text is never touched.
What it doesn't do: no streaks, no hearts, no penalties for looking things up or skipping. The only number I track is whether people reach the last page.
Where it's rough: nine public-domain classics are ready; your own upload takes a few minutes; definitions are in simple English or Chinese for now.
