Hi Product Hunt, I’m Kevin, the maker of Readby.
Readby started with a simple thought: a bedtime story should still sound like someone you love, even when they can’t be in the room. Most new story apps generate stories or synthetic voices. Readby does the opposite: real people record real books in their own voice, page by page.
Invite family members to contribute from anywhere, then a child can replay Grandma, Dad, or an aunt at bedtime, in the car, or on a plane. Downloaded stories work offline. Readby is private and ad-free, and listening is always free.
