Most reading tools do one job: translate, read aloud, or turn text into flashcards you build by hand. ReadAlly keeps the help on the page. Highlight any line and one menu opens on it: hear it read aloud word by word, get a plain explanation, translate it, ask a question, or save a note. Finish a chapter and it writes a quiz from what you just read, so it sticks. Read a classic or drop in your own PDF or EPUB, in many languages, with your library, notes and quizzes synced across web and Android.

Hey everyone 👋 I'm the maker of ReadAlly. Honestly this started as a fix for my own problem. I read a lot to pick up languages, and later to get through dense stuff for work, and I kept losing the thread. Stop to translate a line, open a dictionary, google a reference, and ten minutes later I'd forgotten why I opened the book. A week after that, most of it was gone. So I put the help inside the page instead of a second tab. Highlight any line and a small menu opens right on it: - Hear it read aloud, each word lighting up as it's spoken - Explain it in plain language, without leaving the page - Translate it, word by word and then the full sentence - Ask your own question about the passage - Save a note on that exact spot When you finish a chapter, ReadAlly can turn what you just read into a short quiz, so it actually stays with you instead of fading. It works on a big catalog of books or on your own PDF or EPUB, in many languages, and your library, notes and quizzes carry over between web and Android. It's free to start. One thing I'd genuinely love to know: what's the first book, or the first language, you'd try it on? I'll be here all day to answer.

Who hunted ReadAlly?

ReadAlly was hunted by Youcef Kemiche. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
