Hey everyone! 👋 Maker here. Excited to finally launch my image editor on DevHunt! 🚀
💡 Why I built this:
Whenever I needed to integrate a graphic or photo editor into a SaaS or client project, I was always faced with the same frustrating dilemma:
1. Use bloated legacy canvas frameworks (like Fabric.js or Konva) that add hundreds of kilobytes, are hard to style with CSS, and struggle with modern React 19 concurrent features.
2. Rely on third-party SaaS SDKs with expensive monthly subscriptions and vendor lock-in.
3. Spend 100+ hours building math vectors, crop modals, layer reordering, and transformation matrices from scratch.
So, I built this editor from the ground up to be the cleanest, lightest, and most developer-friendly image editor for modern web apps.
⚡ What makes it special:
- Built for React 19 & Vite: Clean, hook-based modular architecture (`useEditor`, `useResizable`, `useDraggable`).
- Zero heavy canvas dependencies: Relies entirely on modern DOM/SVG transforms and hardware-accelerated CSS.
- Privacy-First & 100% Client-Side: All editing, procedural film grain, filters, and PNG/JPEG exports happen locally in the user's browser (zero server costs!).
- White-Label & Production-Ready: 129 automated Vitest tests, 0 Oxlint warnings, and 1-click deployment support.
