Initially, I built Reach.Jobs for myself as a job search and apply agent after trying all of the agents on the market and found them to be too expensive and lacking important features. My 26 year career in tech is extremely broad having worked at 8 companies plus cofounding 7 startups. My 7 page resume is simply too big to use and I found poor results with applying to jobs and having the ATS file my application away in a black hole.

I also built it to expand my knowledge and custom tuned LLM models as part of my master's program. All AI inference runs entirely on my own hardware and is solar powered; a much greener alternative to the competition as well. Running my own hardware also enables me to keep prices very low; unemployed should have to spend a lot to land their next job.
