Super slick launch, @jordanamblin Congrats! Curious — what was the hardest thing to adapt from desktop to iOS?
Super cool but...
it would be great if you didn't inject an ad for this update into my command palette.
To Johan, Jordan, Giedrė, and Petr:
I was blown away from the moment I began the onboarding for Raycast for Mac. It can’t have been easy (and I must admit I had reservations regarding a “Raycast for iPhone”) but not only have those reservations been thoroughly dispelled, you’ve well and truly exceeded expectations (mine at least).
Congrats to you all 🍾👏🎉
Love how effortlessly everything syncs! Especially it makes context switching between desktop and mobile quick and responsive!
Great app, love the UI.
I am not sure if I would use Raycast on iOS primarily because (1) the focus is mostly on AI and iOS does a terrible job of integrating AI into the workflow as smoothly as I can on the Mac, (2) everything seems to be behind the pro paywall and I am not keen to add more subscriptions to my bill.
The team has done a wonderful job creating the intro videos and the campaigns on social media. Kudos, but this is solving problems that I don't have.
Amazing! I've been a Raycast user for many years now and using it on mobile will be great!
Let me just say that I am a massive fan of Raycast and the team behind it. Such a fantastic piece of software and so wildly useful and always delightful. The amount of care, craft and buttery deliciousness packed into their MacOS app can't be understated. I use it a freakish amount of times per day for so many different things — it's one of the most valued pieces of software I have.
The new iOS app is a fantastic v1, punching well above its weight. I'm already a paid subscriber on the Mac (I use the AI features a ton), and the team has done a brilliant job porting many of the features and functionality found on the Mac to the iOS. It definitely exceeds what I was expecting with the first release, and I can only imagine how much better it's going to get.
A mad congrats to the team for all their work. Couldn't be happier and all praise is absolutely well deserved.
Phenomenal work team. Raycast is my number 1 app on my Mac. I can’t live without it and having it on my phone now to access my ai chats, quick links etc is amazing. Clipboard history PLS next
I'm an Android user and I think I will try it out is there anything out for Android yet? 🤔
Been waiting for this since forever and it's so much better than I even expected. Congrats on the launch team
Love it! I can’t really operate on a Mac without Raycast these days- it’s that deeply embedded in all my workflows. Been putting a lot more data into Raycast’s cloud sync lately, too, and having all that on iOS easily available where I can quickly do something on my phone and impress people with my productivity when really I’m just being lazy and not actually doing much: hell yeah that’s what I want.
On my Mac, Raycast is like air - essential, everywhere, holding everything together.
Now, finally I can breathe when I’m away from my desk.
One of the most requested apps since the inception of Raycast... am I dreaming? 👀 It's finally here?! 🎉
