RawCut: AI Video Maker
Building RawCut: finished TikToks from your own footage
Building RawCut: finished TikToks from your own footage. I write scripts, my app does the editing. Building RawCut.Your script. Your clips. One video. You type. It cuts. No stock. No AI filler. Your real footage. From raw to cut.
Hi Product Hunt,
I kept noticing the same thing with people who film a lot: the footage isn't the problem, the editing is. A camera roll full of clips, and every video means an evening of scrubbing timelines in CapCut.
RawCut flips that. You add clips from your camera roll once. Then you write a few lines, what you want to see or say, and it finds the exact moments in your own footage and cuts them into a finished 9:16 video. Ready for TikTok, Reels or Shorts.
Two things I care about:
It only uses your real footage. No stock, no AI-generated filler. If nothing in your library fits a line of your script, it tells you instead of faking it.
Your videos never leave your iPhone. Only a few small frames are analyzed, once per clip.
Built solo, in Flutter. Happy to answer anything.
