I built rating.so because every "Domain Rating" number I found online was
either behind a $99/mo tool or three clicks deep in someone else's SEO
suite — and it changed depending on which tool I asked.
The idea started simple: track your own site's DR for free, get an alert
when it moves, and get a public report page you can actually share (with
your co-founder, your investor update, or just to flex a little).
While building it I kept running into the same question from early users:
"how do I know if my backlinks are actually working?" — so DR tracking
turned into weekly backlink snapshots, a leaderboard to see where you
stand against similar sites, and a public /website/yourdomain report
that updates automatically.
It's free to track one domain, no credit card. Pro/Agency plans add more
domains, faster refreshes, and white-label client reports if you're doing
this for clients.
