See where your salary ranks using official BLS data
Free salary percentile calculator powered by Bureau of Labor Statistics 2024 data. Enter your salary, job category, and state to instantly see your national and state percentile rank across 116 occupations. No signup required. Uses official government wage statistics, not crowdsourced estimates.
Hi Product Hunt! 👋
I built RankMySalary because I was frustrated with salary sites using self-reported crowdsourced data. This uses Bureau of Labor Statistics official data — the gold standard for US wage statistics.
The math uses linear interpolation between BLS anchor points (10th, 25th, 50th, 75th, 90th percentiles) so estimates are methodologically sound — not just averages.
Covers 116 occupation groups across all 50 US states + DC. Completely free, no signup required.
Would love feedback from anyone in HR, compensation, or data science. Happy to answer questions about the methodology!
