I built RainSleep because the background-sound tools I used usually made me choose between a fixed track and a complicated mixer. I wanted something that opens quickly, plays without an account, and still lets you shape the atmosphere.
The Mixer now includes:
- five curated presets that start playing in one click
- up to four independently adjustable layers
- a sleep timer with a gentle 30-second fade-out
- a permanent link for sharing the exact mix
- free public listening without sign-in
RainSleep also includes more than 140 public ambient tracks and optional, credit-based AI generation, but this launch is deliberately about the Mixer: a small, calm tool you can use immediately.
I would love practical feedback: Which preset would you use most, and what should the sixth preset sound like?
The rain + forest preset on a sleep timer was exactly what I needed after a long day, and the shareable link is a nice touch for sending my partner the exact mix I use.
