Listen to free online radio on RadioRat’s interactive globe. Explore live FM radio stations worldwide by country, genre, and language—no sign-up required.
I'm Raman, an independent designer, and I built RadioRat because I missed the feeling of discovering something unexpected on the radio.
Most radio websites make you search for a station you already know. I wanted to reverse that experience: what if you could simply explore the world and discover what people are listening to?
That's how RadioRat started. 📻🌍
It's a free, browser-based radio explorer where you can:
Explore live radio stations on an interactive globe.
Discover broadcasts by country, genre, and language.
Save favorites and revisit stations.
Switch between different receiver themes.
Listen without creating an account.
I also wanted RadioRat to feel different visually. Rather than building another conventional radio directory, I created a playful interface with colorful illustrations and a nostalgic radio-inspired experience.
I designed and built it independently, using modern web technologies and AI-assisted development.
I'd especially love your feedback on two things:
Does exploring stations through the globe feel intuitive?
What would make you return to RadioRat regularly?
Thanks for checking it out. Every suggestion helps me improve it! ❤️
