Wikipedia racing - navigating from one article to another using only links - used to be something people played in browser tabs. I turned it into a daily puzzle: one start, one target, fewest clicks wins.
I'm a backend engineer and this is my first browser-based game. It's Wordle-style - one puzzle a day, share your result. Has a handful of daily players so far.
