Quizzoria
Free, open source quiz platform for classrooms and events
Quizzoria is a free, open-source, self-hostable quiz platform for quiz nights, classrooms, teams, and community events. Hosts import questions from CSV, XLSX, or JSON, share a short join code, and run self-paced or host-paced games. Players can compete individually or in teams, while scoring stays on the server so answer keys are never exposed to clients. Quizzoria is fully FREE. It is built for people and communities that want a free alternative to quiz tools such as Kahoot.
Hi Product Hunt!
I built Quizzoria as a free and open-source quiz platform for classrooms, teams, and community events.
There are no paid plans or subscription tiers. The goal is to give people a transparent, flexible way to run quizzes without making monetization the center of the product.
Hosts can import CSV, XLSX, or JSON question files, share a short join code, and run self-paced or host-paced games. Individual and team play are supported, and answer keys never leave the server.
Quizzoria can be self-hosted with Docker Compose, Kubernetes, Helm, or Terraform.
I would love feedback on the host setup flow, player experience, and self-hosting documentation.
