I’m Razzo, an independent maker from the foothills of Himalayas, India.
For the past several months, I have been building Quietly, a small digital monastery for ordinary human moments.
It has rooms for saving memories, journaling privately, releasing worries, reflecting on life and returning to yourself without needing to publish or perform.

It is a collection of twenty-five small human moments worth pausing for.
Each moment has a curated, hand-drawn stroke animation. As you begin writing how the moment made you feel, the scene slowly pans outward and gives your words room to exist.
I cannot read what you write because it is not sent to or stored in a database. No account, feed or public profile is involved.
Local privacy is not magic, though. If someone takes your unlocked phone or computer and opens the page, they can definitely read it and smirk.
I chose July 20 to begin sharing Quietly for a few personal reasons.
It is my birthday.
In India, the 2026 World Cup final begins just after midnight on July 20.
Apollo 11 reached the Moon on July 20, 1969, and Luna has always been my favourite celestial body.
My laptop is still away for repair and may not return before July 30. So this launch is happening without the perfect setup I imagined.
Perhaps that is appropriate.
Quietly was never made for perfect days. It was made for real ones.

I built 22 private browser tools, but maintaining 12 languages is beginning to scare me
Quietly started as a small set of private, local-first tools. It now supports 12 languages, and I am beginning to understand the hidden maintenance cost.
Every new feature means checking labels, mobile layouts, fallbacks, onboarding and edge cases across every locale.
For other solo makers working internationally: did localisation become a genuine growth advantage, or did you eventually reduce the number of languages you supported?
I would love to hear how you decide which languages deserve continued investment.
Love how offline and private this feels, especially the local storage approach. One thing that would make it stickier for me is optional end-to-end encrypted sync so I can keep journaling across my phone and laptop without giving up the no-cloud ethos. Even just a simple passphrase unlock to sync between my own devices would feel right at home with the rest of the design.
love how everything stays on my device, no accounts or syncing headaches. the 25 hand-drawn prompts felt genuinely thoughtful and got me writing in a way most journal apps never do.
Love the privacy-first approach and the hand-drawn moments are a really sweet touch. One thing that would help me stick with it: an optional weekly export to PDF so I can archive my entries offline or share them with a therapist later, all without ever touching your servers.
