Quietfail watches scheduled jobs for missed check-ins. Give each job a ping URL and call it when the job succeeds. If a ping doesn't arrive within the expected interval plus grace period, Quietfail emails you; Pro can alert via Slack or Discord. Free for up to 10 monitors, with no credit card required.

Top comment

I built Quietfail for the scheduled job that does not fail loudly. It simply stops, and nobody notices until an expected backup, sync, or report is missing. Add a ping at the end of each job, set its expected interval and grace period, and get an alert when it goes quiet. Email is on every plan; Slack and Discord are on Pro. The free plan covers 10 monitors. If you run cron jobs, I'd love to hear what you use now and what this is missing.

Who hunted Quietfail?

Quietfail was hunted by Karan Parikh. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
