Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Kanishk Dodeja, a solo developer based in Pune, India. I built Quicky because my own Dock and Finder windows had turned into chaos - dozens of files, folders, and app shortcuts I reopened every single day, with no fast way to get to any of them.
Quicky is a menu-bar launcher: click the icon (or hit your own keyboard shortcut) and a small, fast panel drops down. Type to search, arrow-key to the item, hit Return. Everything you pin - files, folders, apps, links - lives in color-coded Sets so "Client X" and "Design" and "Admin" each stay their own space.
Two things I cared about more than features:
- Design-first. Every screen went through multiple passes before I'd ship it. It should feel like a native part of macOS, not a bolted-on utility.
- Privacy by default. Quicky collects no data and makes no network calls. Your shortcuts never leave your Mac. That's not a settings toggle, it's the architecture.
It's a native Swift/SwiftUI app, macOS 14+. Available on the Mac App Store and as a direct download.
