Hey ProductHunt! James here, one half of the two-person team behind Questly.
The idea came from a pretty simple frustration. Me and Lewis have been gaming our whole lives and finding something genuinely worth playing had become harder than it should be. Every storefront shows you the same hyped releases, review sites feel impersonal & are littered with ads, plus the communities are scattered everywhere.
We wanted one place that combined discovery, tracking and community without any of the noise. No ads, no paid placement, no algorithm designed to keep you scrolling. Just games, recommended based on what you've actually played and loved.
The thing we're most proud of is that something old school gets equal billing to something that dropped last week. Retro and modern side by side, no preference given to marketing budgets.
We've been building this for over a year, launched independently last week with no investors and we're already closing in on 500 users through organic content alone.
